Why We Built This Site
Louisiana uses parishes rather than counties, and Tangipahoa Parish has several separate court-record paths. The 21st Judicial District Court is the general-jurisdiction trial court for Tangipahoa, Livingston, and St. Helena parishes. The Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Court is the district-file custodian, with ClerkConnect criminal and civil services used for the Clerk’s online inquiry and filing routes. A Hammond City Court, municipal, Justice of the Peace, or federal matter may belong to a different office. The purpose of this resource is to clarify that first routing choice before a person seeks a docket, minute, calendar entry, or certified copy.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: local paths for criminal docket searches and civil docket searches
- Settings information: ways to use court date sources and verify an active hearing
- Case routing: a case lookup path once the issuing court is known
- Record distinctions: how court record searches differ from minutes, copies, transcripts, and certification
What We Cannot Do
This is a private reference resource, not a Louisiana court, the Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Court, or a public agency. Its limits include the following:
- Retrieving an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- Setting, changing, or confirming a court setting
- Removing, sealing, correcting, or amending a court record
- Issuing a certified copy of a docket, order, minute, or other document
- Giving legal advice about a filing, order, deadline, or case
- Guaranteeing that every fee, phone number, calendar entry, or procedure remains current
Only the court or record custodian that holds a Tangipahoa Parish file can provide an official or certified copy. A calendar listing, portal image, or search result is not automatically certified.
Search Partners
Some pages display a search tool operated by a third party. That provider controls its service, pricing, terms, and returned results. A signup through a partner link may result in a referral fee. Official court, clerk, and municipal sources remain the appropriate place to verify current Tangipahoa Parish case and record information.
